Trailer Loading - Day 6

I took the weekend off from loading - too many other things going on. When I went back to it today, Ansel was a bit distracted walking over to the trailer, but I remembered to chunk things down - not just try to start with the target at the furthest point we had gotten to the previous session. That made all the difference in the world. In 6-8 asks, I was able to work him up from front feet on the ramp to completely loaded and checking out the manger on one side. Then took a walk break and in 4 attempts went from front feet in to fully loaded on the other side. I even stroked his flank as he rummaged through the manger for the carrots I put there.

I think tomorrow or the next day, I'll close the door and let him have his grain in the trailer.
